Paperback — coming soon on Amazon

There is a place where you can feel what is happening without being swept away by it — awake, steady, able to stay. That place is your window of tolerance. Trauma narrows it. Small things start to send you too high or too low, and coming back feels like it takes longer than it should.

This workbook helps you know that window from the inside. You will learn to recognize its edges, to feel in your body when you have crossed them, and to find your way back — not by forcing yourself to calm down, but by understanding what your system is doing and what it needs.

What’s inside

Phase I — Seeing the Window: what the window of tolerance is, learning to notice your body, knowing when you are inside it.

Phase II — Knowing My Three Edges: hyperarousal, hypoarousal, and freeze — your triggers and the early warning signs that come before them.

Phase III — Finding My Way Back: coming down from too high, coming up from too low, thawing out of freeze, and what the window looks like in your relationships.

Phase IV — Widening the Window: expanding your capacity over time, and building your own weekly regulation plan.

What you will carry out of it: a working language for your own nervous system, and a set of practices you can return to — so that the way back becomes more familiar each time.
